Xperia XA2 Ultra System Updates

I have a brand new XA2 Ultra phone and it keeps installing the same System update again and again. After I restart the phone, sometimes it shows that I have the latest updates installed, but after few minutes, the phone is asking for another update. I performed a syetem full reset but the phone keeps installing the same system update. What should I do to stop this? Should I return the phone or there is something else I can do?

Sounds like it's stuck in a loop of some sort? if that is the case and you cannot remove the update from constantly happening I would just send the phone back and tell whoever that it's faulty.

I called Sony and they suggested to install Xperia Companion on my computer and perform a Software Repair instead of Software Update while connecting the phone to the computer. I did that and followed the instructions. After the repair, my phone came up with the latest Android OS and stopped the loop. The phone if working perfect since that. Thanks to Sony support.
