Random notification sound issue

Hi.

My xa1 regularly produces a succession of notification sounds for no apparent reason.

Any info on how I might fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have your handset in a wallet case or a case that can hold eftpos/debit/bus cards etc?

Or do you have any of these cards near the phone quite a lot?

Yes, it will trigger an NFC connection process which will fail and then will give you a notification sound for that. You got 2 options: Either to disable NFC when you're not using it (Settings -> More -> NFC -> Disable), or remove those cards from the wallet case.

This hasn't solved my problem constantly bleeping but no notification. NFC Is off and still bleeps while I'm using it all day everyday. I've sent the phone back for repairs twice for bad audio and forgetting to plug the front camera back in on the first attempt. Xz2. Brand new phone. I wouldn't recommend one.

All Google updates such as weather, local travel, bus times, that can appear on your device, will carry a notification sound. This is most likely the ones you are recieving during the day.

My phone won't stop buzzing as if there's a call from someone.
