Xperia Ray unlocking software options?

Anyone know of any completely legit programs, methods,

do you know of any good Unlocking programs for the Xperia Ray handset?

Seems like a total minefield for older handsets and getting skanked on unlock code apps and downloads.

Are you trying to unlock the phone from a carrier or unlock the bootloader?

You have 2 options:

1) contact virgin and request the code

2) buy it online, like unlock4cheap

Sony doesn't have nor provide this codes.

I've just used FastGSM.com

So far I attempted there unlock method with there App, appeared to work fine up until the final stage, when I received "Invalid STX" alert box upon what I thought was a successful unlock!

Now my handset does not boot or charge. It just vibrates once everytime I hold the power button down to try and power up!

Luckily I have all my files on the SD card, but it looks like the Unlock program has bricked my phone and it no longer functions, or any kind of back light recognitition appears whatsoever. Have left the charger in to see what happens but it's not looking good - no charger light indicator appears around the Home button as it usually does.

Looks like another handset bites the dust!
