Pre installed Facebook app will not open

Recently I have noticed that the pre installed Facebook app will not work. When I tap it to open it briefly opens then closes. I tried to uninstall but as it is pre installed, it will not allow me to. Any help will be great ....Cheers!:smileyconfused:

Try to clear data on the Facebook app.

From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the Facebook app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone
