Sony Xperia Ray Hard Reset

Hello,

i have a problem since today that my handy is starting and when the Xperia logo comes , the animation of the logo froze and the complete handy is restarting over and over and over the same things: startup , sony logo , xperia animation , froze , restart.

over and over...

i want to make a hard reset but i cant because for "Sony PC Companion" i need to start the phone to the Lock Screen or get it in some Repair Mode idk.

I tried SEUS (sony pc update Service) but it updated and sayed its no longer supported.

what can i do? Thanks in advance.

The phone doesn't have to be on for PCC to work, just run PCC > support zone > follow the steps and leave the phone off.

Performing a system repair using PC Companion - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
