So you want the display to turn on every time you open the flip case?I'm afraid that is not possible.

It's possible if you use Sony flip case SCR 14 . Look at sonymobile.com

The other colleague (harsarayan) at the Forum mentioned the use of a Sony flip case SCR 14.

I also heard about that from another friend. I have a very good magnetic flip case made in Sweden.

Once, when I flipped it open, it vibrated and the screen lit automatically.

Since then, I have been trying to find out what triggered that, to no avail.
