Sony Android TV update has removed Iplayer

A couple of days ago there was a brand new android release for Sony Android TV with a whole new format etc.

However they have removed Iplayer from the TV and it won't let you re-install.

Has anyone else had the same issue and do you know why?

Could you tell us the model number of your TV and the software version you're referring to?

You will probably have to switch on YouView. Then you can access all the Catch Up channels, that's where they are now hiding.
