Hello.

I've found the default installed airscreen app for casting to be extremely buggy, it doesn't work with some services (Veeps) and I note the video quality is generally poor. Also, to get all the features and remove the ads you have to pay a rolling sub for it so I uninstalled it expecting Chromecast to become the default casting app. Except it doesn't. Even though Chromecast is on my Sony phone can't see my TV. Why is this?

AFIK your TV doesn't come we an app airscreen preinstalled and doesn't need it since it is natively supporting both Chromecast and airplay.
