Did a Factory Reset. Set everything up again that morning all OK. Switched back on that evening and the TV remote will not control the set top box, it worked OK after reset in the morning.

Did you install a new firmware or have you just reset your TV?

The latest software was installed in January 2021. Since January the TV was doing its own thing switching on by itself etc. did a Factory Reset that morning, everything worked OK including control of set top box with TV remote. When switched on that evening the TV remote will not control the box. The Bravia sync works i.e. when the set top box is powered on and off the TV follows and vice versa.

Do you have the end of February update? (I can see the version number in the title, but it was released last month)
