Tv work with Alexa

Hi all I have got a KD-55AG8 TV and I have just updated it to PKG6.7140.

I did this to get the Alexa app (TV work with Alexa), to connect my Echo plus to the TV. But when I open this app I get message:- Amazon Alexa service will available in future of this country ,thanks for your waiting.

I'm based in the UK 🇬🇧 so should be able to get this service.

I have tried with Ethernet and WiFi with no luck

Anbody got any ideas

Is this a UK model? If you have imported it, this may be the issue.

Hi, I hope it is, I purchase TV from currys.

Is there any way to check this.

@PHIL1961 Contacting Currys is the best way you can do that.

Also if you're using a VPN, proxy, or any kind of network solution that would make the TV think you're in a different country, you can try disabling those.

Hi, I finally sorted the issue out.

I did a factory reset and that did it, now working great.
