I'm not sure if the PS4 has support for Bravia Sync/Control for HDMI/HDMI CEC, but unplugging and disconnecting everything for a few minutes is a good start.

I'd also recommend making sure everything is up to date, then maybe contact PS support(as I do agree with your suspicion), since this forum is mostly for general electronics and phones.

- JD

I have a KD-49XH9505 Tv as well as surround sound virgin box and PS4. I had it set up so that when the tv turns on all the devices came on on turned off when the TV is turned off. This worked with no problems at all until i plug in the PS4. As soon as the HDMI cable is plugged into the PS4 this all stops working and i have to turn on each device individually. I have identified the PS4 as the issue as i have in plugged everything and plugged them back in individually in different combinations and everytime the PS4 is plugged in it stops working.

I have my devices connected as follows. HDMI 1 - Virgin Box. HDMI2 - Apple TV. HDMI 3 (ARC) surround sound. HDMI4 PS4.

Any ideas what is going on as i have tried everything

TIA
