Constant orange light and remote not working

My remote does not work, I have tried it on my other Sony’s and it works fine. The orange light is on constantly. I think it 1 or 2 reasons.

1. Turned off during a software update?

2. Timer set

either way I can’t get it to do anything. I have tried a hard reset about 50 times and that doesn’t work.

What model TV are you referring to? What software version is it on?

Hi, it’s a KDL-32WE613 but I don’t know what software it is on as the remote doesn’t work so I can’t see what software it is on. I can only turn it on using the the buttons on the back
