      <description>&lt;P&gt;T-Com Home Internet connection with maximum 100 Mb/sec dowlnoad speed through traditional telefon wire, router is also supplied by T-Com. Download speed through wire (no Wifi)&amp;nbsp; connection to a Windows 10 desktop pc or laptop measured by Speedtest.net is about 80 Mb/sec with relatively narrow speed fluctuation. Through the very same&amp;nbsp; wire connection and cable, practically in the same time, the download speed of a &lt;SPAN&gt;KDL-43W807C Android Sony smart TV-&lt;/SPAN&gt; measured by speedtest.net ranges from 10 to 55 Mb/sec, i.e. the speed does not exceed 55 Mb/sec (vs 80 Mb/sec through a pc) and speed fluctuation is large. Due to the lower and variable download speed, a movie is offten not continuous but interrupted even from a strong server (such as You Tube).       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi jcsaba,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you get the same results if the TV is connected via Wi-Fi? If they are different, I'd recommend changing the Ethernet cable currently used to connect the TV as it may be causing this. It's possible to test the TV independently&amp;nbsp; if you get high speeds through 4g for example, by connecting the TV to your phone via a Wi-Fi hotspot and running the same test. Let us know how it goes so we can get this one sorted!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Win_88&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi, Win_88&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wi-Fi sign is relatively poor as the router is located in the basement where&lt;BR /&gt;we have an in-house telephone switch. Therefore download speed via Wi-Fi is&lt;BR /&gt;even slower. When I compared the download speed by laptop to that by the TV&lt;BR /&gt;set, I used the same cable and same plug (The cable is cca 10 m long and&lt;BR /&gt;CAT5 or CAT5e). It is always said that any device used for transmission or&lt;BR /&gt;change of connection type may reduce the download speed. It makes no sense&lt;BR /&gt;to use other type of connection to get to know the reasons why the TV set&lt;BR /&gt;download speed is lower than the PC's from the same network. My guess as the&lt;BR /&gt;possible reason is rather the operating system or the internet browser. As&lt;BR /&gt;Sony updated the Android version a few months ago, the earlier internet&lt;BR /&gt;browser Opera was changed for Vewd browser. I contacted Sony Customer&lt;BR /&gt;service, look forward their reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;jcsaba</description>
