Hi everyone,

Am I right that the Picture Settings in the Action Menu do not stick? Or do they only stick to different HDMI inputs, but not apps? I wish to have Deezer on very low light and music sound; Computer via Standard and Netflix with certain settings, YouTube, etc... Would be wonderful!

Roman

Hi @meny_

Have you tried to create a Custom picture setting and use that when you need it?

There's a guide to picture settings here that might be helpful.

Cheers

Hi Mick,

I don’t actually need to customize the picture setting I would just need the preset settings does take two different inputs. But it’s not too bad I realize that some of them actually do stick !

Thanks again,

Roman

Hi Roman,

Just for your information. The settings are grouped per type of source. Just to name a few groups, you have: Apps, Video, Digital TV, Satellite TV, etc. So that means that unfortunately there is no way to have a distinct setting between say Netflix and YouTube. They both fall under Apps. You can always customise as many Picture Profiles as you want and remember to use which one for what type of app.

Hope that clears matters up for you.

Cheers,

Yeah, many thanks for confirming that.

It would be ideal if we could differentiate between photo apps and movie apps for instance. I see very different needs there!

Cheers

Sent from my iPad Pro
