Intel Matrix Raid 1 and UDMA modes... questions

I got an AR51SU with Vista and RAID 1 enabled.

I installed a game yesterday and it took over 2 hours to install.
I then installed the same game on an older PC (5 years old), and it was done in 30 mins.

On another PC running XP I had the issue that after some R/W errors, the disks access mode was automatically degraded by Windows to PIO.

On my AR51SU, I can't even see in which mode the HDDs are running.
Where is that info located?

I just ran a HDD I/O test, and it measured 22 MB/s on IDE 0.

Now that's a bit weak, but maybe this is because of the RAID 1 setup?

Can someone tell me if that disk speed is normal?
