IE8 keeps freezing up 100 times a day - Whats wrong

A number of sites like Facebook and MySpace and many more will not work with IE8 until they have been updated to the new Web Publishing Standards.

Rather like with Vista it sounds like Microsoft are forcing the pace before other software is ready!!

I would revert to IE7: -

Start -> Control Panel -> Check for Updates -> View Update History -> Installed Updates

Then right click IE8 and uninstall. This should automatically revert to IE7.

Ha ha, i didn't notice that IE also aquires W3C now 🙂 A good webbrowser should be conform to it, but M$ never was. It's really bad that M$ forces customers to use a product which is worse than the one before 🙂

Normally you can use the acid test to check whether a browser is compatible:

The pre version of IE8 wasn't bad in it, but the one published through windows update seems to be really bad.

I would recommend you to download a better Browser, such as Firefox
