Connection problem to TV

Hi there,

I've got a Vaio VGN-CS11Z. It extends the display to right hand side everytime I connect it to my TV. The problem is that I can niether see the extended part on telly nor on the laptop itself. How can I change the default automatic setting please. Your tips are appreciated.

If you're running vista, right click on your desktop -> personalize -> display settings
