blu-ray drive wont recognise disks

i have an fw11zu and the drive plays cd and dvds but when i try a bluray disk i just get nothing, it doesnt even recognise it.

i have updated everything in the support

anyone know how to fix this

I have the same problem with my AR51M laptop.

After resetting to the original factory settings it would read Blu-ray disks again, however after a couple of updates the problem has returned. So it must be a software issue.

After doing a search on the net it seems other people are having the same problem, but unfortunately nobody knows how to fix it.

Same thing has happened to my FZ21Z, wouldn't recognise any BD disks. I removed the WinDVD software and re-installed the (really old) official nVidia drivers and it started working again but now blu ray playback just seems to randomly freeze the laptop!!!!!!
